Danica has been proud to work with Bahri for more than 10 years, building a relationship based on trust, experience and a shared commitment to high standards at sea.
Over that time, our recruitment teams have come to know Bahri’s fleet, its operating requirements and the kind of people it needs onboard. Bahri, in turn, has trusted Danica to identify and recommend seafarers who are a good fit for its vessels and international operations.
Founded in 1978, Bahri has grown from four vessels into one of the world’s major maritime transportation and logistics companies, with a fleet of more than 100 ships. Its operations cover VLCCs, chemical and product tankers, dry bulk, Ro-Ro and multipurpose vessels, with further development in areas including LPG and ammonia transportation.
For seafarers, that brings opportunities across different vessel types, trades and operating environments. Bahri Ship Management is supported by more than 4,000 seafarers and maritime professionals from over 50 nationalities, reflecting the international nature of the fleet.
Safety and crew welfare remain key priorities, as does continuous professional development. Danica supports seafarers throughout their careers, helping with progression, training and opportunities to build experience rather than focusing only on the next vacancy.
That long-term approach has been an important part of our work with Bahri. Good crewing is not simply about finding someone with the right certificates. It is about understanding the vessel, the role and the person behind the CV, and helping people build careers that can develop over time.
As Bahri continues to expand and diversify, Danica is pleased to continue supporting its fleet and connecting experienced maritime professionals with suitable opportunities.
